Fortress

Located in beautiful Alberta, Canada, Fortress Mastiffs is dedicated to the betterment of the breed. All of our dogs are well socialized, obedience trained, and compete in conformation events. We strongly believe in the genetic screening of all breeding dogs, in attempts to lessen the possibility of passing on inherited health problems. No dog at Fortress will be bred unless they are proven to be of a sound mind/temperament, are a wonderful representation of the breed standard, as well as having passed all appropriate health testing.

We very much encourage anyone interested in owning a Mastiff, to visit them in their homes in order to really get a feel of what they are in for. We feel that it is of paramount importance for potential puppy owners to meet BOTH parents of the litter if at all possible. You can learn so much of what to expect from your pup by spending time with his/her sire and dam.

We are always happy to educate people on this wonderful breed, as well as offer any assistance we can to help you find what you are looking for from another reputable breeder, should we not have it here.

We are members of the Canadian Mastiff Club, the Canadian Kennel Club, Dog Legislation Council of Canada.
